Oh my word guys, Halloween is only one week away! So today, I thought i'd search online for some fun, unique and funky idea's for decorating and carving pumpkins! I've already bought myself a pumpkin and a few onion squash's(they look like miniature pumpkins!) so i'll post some photo's when I've decorated/carved mine, maybe even a Halloween video?!

Quote of the Week #20

Monday, October 21, 2013
I can't believe I've shared 20 of my favourite quotes with you already! I hope you're all having a great day!
Be free
"Be Free"
I think everyone can have their own connection to these two little words. To me, having "be free" written somewhere for me to see everyday reminds me, no matter what, to be the person that I want to be, it reminds me that life is to be lived and it reminds me that I am FREE. I am my own being and I have the control and the ability to achieve all that I want to achieve.
P.S, i'll be painting next week's quote of the week so don't forget to follow so you don't miss out!

Polyvore Style Board #21

Jumper // Trousers // Shoes (similar, well sort of) // Watch // Clutch // Sunnies // Lipstick // Nail polish

So, I think it's finally sweater weather which we all know is better weather! I found this one whilst browsing Warehouse! I think it's just so cute with the little jewelled collar and I think it's so versatile you can style it like this or you could team it with a little dress and or skirt which would look super cute!
I spent a long time debating with my boyfriends mum if these trousers were marvellous or a big no no and I decided that they were pretty damn fab. Coming in at £42 from Oasis, these babies would deffo be the statement piece in my wardrobe this autumn/winter.
How adorable are these shoes? It's such a shame that they've been removed from their site but I just had to include them in this post! I thought they went really well with the floral trousers because of the contrast in colour. The little watch is another cute one isn't it? You can grab it from asos for £22! The little bow tie even spins around!
I don't own a decent clutch bag, I still haven't managed to get my hands on that French Connection one. This pretty little pink one is only £15.99 from Zara and think it's pretty versatile in terms of when you can use it and what you can wear if you're using it. It's also available in a mustard shade but personally, i'm not digging it.
Although it's completely acceptable to wear sunglasses all year round, I only ever seem to wear them between April and September time so this year i'm making it a point of wearing them more often. Where I live, it's sunny most of the year, not hot all year, but still sunny. For one, sunglasses protect your eyes and secondly, these are beautiful aren't they? You could pair these with anything and still look BOSS. Cat eye Sunnies > everything.
I chose topshop's lipstick infared because I thought the look needed a little pop of something bold in colour and if you saw my last beauty related post, you'll know that i'm really loving orangey/red's at the moment.
When was the last time you wore white nail varnish over all your nail, not just as a tip? My best friend used to ALL the time and I honestly still love the look of white claws! This is right at the top of things to buy when visiting UK next month!

Current Obsessions: Banana's and Indian Food, but that's pretty much two of my favourite things ever.
Would you rock this outfit? How would you style these floral pants?

Alexander McQueen Velvet Puritan Platform Sandals! ♡

Saturday, October 19, 2013
I've fallen in love with a pair of shoes, AGAIN! So you remember these Jimmy Choo's that I thought were the best thing to grace the face of the earth? Well, I was wrong! Because these bad boys here, are what it's all about!
I honestly don't even know what to say about these perfect little things! Well, I say little, they're pretty monstrous aren't they?! I just love everything from the gigantic buckle on the front to the block heel! I think I need to make an Alexander McQueen wishlist post because not only are the shoes amazing, the jewellery is out of this world! Watch this space!

Collection Cosmetics Lasting Colour Lipstick

So i'm sure by now you'll know that collection cosmetic's are my go to for "drug storelip products! I decided to share these two lip colours from collection cosmetic's lasting colour collection because one of them has become my day time go to and the other my Friday night staple!

Firstly, I think the packaging is lovely, just simple and sleek with a little pop of pink(YAY). There are 11 shades to choose from and they're all enriched with spf#15! I picked mine up at my local Morrisons but you can buy them online or grab them at boots!
The first of the two shades is called "Vintage Rose" and I can't get enough of it! This particular shade reminds me of the lipstick my mum wears and I absolutely love it. I love this colour for an everyday look and personally think it really suits my skin tone. I'd say the colour of this is a dusty/faded almost dark pink (holy wow I can't describe anything for the life of me!) and i've found the wear of this lipstick to be really long lasting to say it only cost me £2.99!
The second shade is called "Passion Fruit" and to be honest, I was completely on the fence with this one for a while but now that I've actually worn it a few times I love it! This shade has a shimmer to it, almost like teeny tiny pieces of gold glitter! This is a passion fruit(fyi they're delicious!), now I don't think this shade is best represented by it's name. This lipstick is a red Rorange? That was bad wasn't it..? This shade is definitely something more daring for me but i'm really glad I chose it and think it's a wonderful colour! The wear of this is just as good as the other shade! I guess the truth is in the name!
swatches
Overall, I'm really happy with both of these lipsticks and I know i'm going to go back and grab myself some more shades! So what do you think? Have you used any of the lasting colour lipsticks from collection cosmetic's? Which is your favourite? Let me know!
