Polyvore Style Board #30

Sunday, March 30, 2014

I found this cute little dress over at Aeropostal and it's a bargain at £24.50! It's actually also avalible in aquatic blue but of course, black is my colour. Another must have item on my ever growing wish list!
Oddly enough, I was talking about fedora's with Kathy the other day, might I just add for all the wrong reasons, and I think this super oversized fedora is another wish list worthy item. I don't really think I can pull hats off but I might just have to try with this River Island one!
I've not had a pair of Vans in years! I've been eyeing up a few pairs lately but I think this pair might just be the ones I've been looking for. As i'm sure you've noticed, floral is kinda something I lust over all the time and I think these babies would be perfect for the spring/summer time!
Cute clutch alert! Nasty Gal always produce the cutest little things! I think this clutch would work with any outfit, even if you're wearing something super casual like this, I reckon it really adds a cute touch to the whole look.
There are so many amazing jewellery pieces over on Amazon and I stumbled across this really sweet mint green rose necklace and it just jumped itself into my basket! Isn't is just so adorable? Pastel esk colours and floral, what's not to love?
Are you craving the warmer weather? Would you rock this outfit? Let me know!

Tee - Primark | Cardigan - Charity shop | Pumps - Primark | Leggings - Primark | Ring - Primark
Firstly, thank you to my top notch mum for taking these photos, she kept saying how rubbish she'd be at taking pictures but look how lovely they came out! I think she really loved it haha! Oh and what do you think of mum's flowers? She's ever so proud!
So let's get a low down on this outfit. Pretty much everything in the post is from Primark, outfit on a budget haha! I grabbed this super cute Bambi top for £6, bargain! It's quite thin so it'll be great for when the warmer weather comes. I picked up this wool cardigan which was a super duper fabulous find at a charity shop in Tewkesbury for just £2.95. It's so baggy and comfy, I think I'll be living out of it this month. As I'm sure you're all very aware, I'm loving the pastel trend and I love all the colours in this outfit! I just think they all work really well together!
What do you think? Love it or leave it? Let me know!

The Milkmaid Braid

Wednesday, March 26, 2014
I've been experimenting with cute new hair styles and right now I'm really loving the milkmaid braid! I just wanted to share this with you guys, but please excuse the bad angled photos and the multitude of colours in my hair, oops. I kept a little hair around my face to frame it but pinned my fringe up. This is honestly such an easy hairstyle to achieve but here's a really great tutorial by Rhiannon Ashlee
Ideally, you'd use clear elastic bands to secure the braids and bobby pins that match your hair colour.. but I didn't bring any with my on this little trip to the UK(vlog coming soon) so this is as good as it's gonna get this week, haha! What are your go to hair styles at the moment? Let me know/show me below!

Rita Ora for Rimmel London Collection | Nail Polish

Tuesday, March 25, 2014

I was strolling through boots, as you do, when I found myself at the Rimmel London stand with all of their new collaboration collection with Rita Ora in my basket, but being on a budget, I had to put it all back and pick up just a few of their glorious new items! So I chose these two adorable nail polish's. I've always been a massive Rimmel hoarder, fan and you can't beat a bit of Rita Ora on your Friday night playlist, plus, she's gorgeous!
Both colours are glorious pastel shades with really fun names, Breakfast in Bed being a pastel mint green with a slight blue tint to it and Lose Your Lingerie a subtle baby pink, which actually reminds me of marshmallows, yum! For both colours, I applied a base coat, two coats of colour(although the bottle does say only one coat is necessary) and a top coat and I was more than happy with the results! The colours are surprisingly pigmented for how pale they are. I think these two colours work really well together and will really help to achieve that spring look!
Can I also just say how much i'm loving the Rita Ora stamps, perfect.
Other colours from this collection include Pillow Talk, Let's Get Nude, White Hot Love and lots more! They're all currently available at boots for just £3.69 each! Have you tried any of the products from Rimmel London's new collab with Rita Ora? Let me know!

Quote of the Week #29

Monday, March 24, 2014
"Just because you have a bad day, doesn't mean you have a bad life."
Sorry I missed last week's quote of the week, I literally had no access to the internet, boo hoo. So this morning, the first thing I did when I got up was open instagram to have a scroll through my feed, as you do, and I came across this picture that my friend Gislaine posted and I fell in love with this quote instantly! Almost everyday I wake up to a sea of complaints all over my facebook page and most of them seem so trivial, that's where this quote comes in. Just because you saw some girl in the year below you wearing the exact same topshop pants as you, really doesn't mean that your life is a sham and just because you missed your first bus this morning, doesn't mean that the rest of your week is going to be terrible.
Nowadays, I think people spend too much time focusing on the small negative things instead of the lovely little happy things around them! This brings me to my next point. 100 Happy Days.
If you follow me on instagram, you'll have seen the little hashtag, 100happydays on some of my photos. If you haven't already heard, it's a massive project that I think all of you should get involved in! It's really as simple as capturing a photo every day for 100 days of something that has made you happy that day! You can find out more and register by visiting this site.

Polyvore Style Board #29

Sunday, March 23, 2014

So, Pastels are definitely back in again this season, weather it's in your wardrobe or on your finger nails, this is definitely a trend to be rocking this spring.
Aside's from the fabulous colour, how amazing is this jumper? Haha, I love it it's just great! I think I might even fancy this over the Feline shirts, don't you? I must just say, the new selfie song is so incredibly annoying but it's been stuck in my head all day today, damn you selfie song! This is an absolute steal at just £14.99 from New Look!
Converse, just, every day, with everything.
All of my jeans are either blue or black, all of them. So this spring I've decided to go on a hunt to find a sweet, light coloured pair and I think I've found them! These Hobbs voyager skinny jeans in "pearl pink" are just perfect, such a subtle yet pretty colour! Right now, they're selling for £79 at John Lewis online.
I'm sure you've noticed that i'm a fan of quirky slogan totes and this one is so sweet. I'm actually planning on doing a diy post soon on making your own! It'll be fun, I promise!
I picked up some earrings in Primark yesterday that are almost identical to these! Either way this pretty pair from Aldo are only (about) £6! Such a classy little pair!
Will you be rocking an outfit like this this spring? How much is the new selfie song annoying you?! Let me know!

4 Adorable Daisy Print Dresses

Saturday, March 22, 2014
1 | 2 | 3 | 4
I've always had a soft spot for a floral pattern but recently I've been seeing so much daisy print around and I think it's just so adorable! I actually bought(thanks mum!) a really sweet little smock(ish) daisy print dress from Primark today, I'd have featured it in this post but I couldn't find it online, but I will be wearing it in an upcoming outfit post!
The first dress, I actually blogged about here not too long ago. This little tea dress is available at Dorothy Perkins for £38, the most expensive of all four actually! Although, £38 isn't really expensive for a dress, is it? I love how flattering a tea dress can be and I just adore this large daisy print!
The second dress is a Brave Soul number from New Look. I think both of the blue dresses up there stand out that little bit more than the black ones as they've got more of a "spring" feel too them. I think this dress would be perfect with a little white cardi and some pumps, boom, you're set! This is currently available online for £19.99.
Does it get cuter than a collared tea dress? Throw a daisy print on it and it sure does! This is the bargain on the board at just £10 in the New Look sale! Even though this tea dress is quite a feminine piece, I reckon you could rock it up a little with some chunky jewellery and some converse. (Do I go on about Converse too much these days?)
The last dress is a perfect summer staple. I love that it's denim and has a halter neck, I think it's just so funky! Another bargain really at just £14 from Karma Clothing. Another dress that I think could be dressed up or down!
With the floral/daisy print on the rise this season, you're pretty much spoilt for choice on the high street! Would you rock a bit of daisy print? Which of these dresses is your favourite? Let me know!

This Is The Road To Ruin and We're Starting At The End

Friday, March 14, 2014
Jumper - Peacocks
Skirt - F&F
Boots - Peacocks
Rings - Topshop & eBay
Nail Varnish - OPI & Chanel
If these aren't the worst outfit photos in the history of the internet then I don't know what are. On Monday morning I woke up and decided that I had to take some outfit photos, little did I know that it was the windiest day EVER and that i'd end up getting splashed by the ocean whilst trying to "pose" and keep calm and collected.
I love this jumper and it's probably the only thing i'll miss about winter.
Happy Friday everyone, I hope you've all had a good week! Bring on the weekend! What have you got planned?
