Anything Can Be "Fixed" With A Flower

Shorts - Topshop | Shirt - Primark | Headband - Topshop | Plimsolls - Primark | Sunnies - Primark | Earrings - Ebay
First of all, I am fully aware that these are the worst outfit photos on the internet, ever! But I took these photos the other day and I was feeling really uninspired today so decided it was time to post these... awful photos! My mouth was doing incredibly strange things so I just decided to get rid of it. Unfortunately I can't edit our awkwardness, bad backgrounds and poses, damn.
The weather has been really lovely recently(until this morning that is, when it decided to rain as soon as I needed to leave the house, fantastic) so this bank holiday Monday, my friends and I decided to go for some ice cream! Seeing as it was unbelievably warm for May, I decided to wear as little as possible and this was the outcome! In summer, I pretty much live in shorts because a, they're comfortable and b, skirts and the road I live on = bad idea(it's not dodgy and full of old/strange men, it's just really windy, promise!)
So now, I bring you some slightly more decent photographs of me and my lovely girlies enjoying our ice cream! FYI, we all had banana and strawberry ice cream, nom!
I hope everyone's enjoying their week so far, and if this week is bumming you out, go out and get some ice cream! Even if it's raining, ice cream is an all day, every day kind of thing!

Shop Jeen | Wishlist

Tuesday, May 27, 2014
Firstly, if you've never had a mooch around SHOPJEEN before, I highly suggest you do so, now! Shop Jeen is like the home for awesomeness on the internet! These are just a few of my favourite picks from their site.
"Sorry, I thought you were Ryan Gosling," is there a better slogan to have on a white tee? There are plenty more Ryan Gosling products over at Shop jeen like this skirt and these earrings.
I'm a huge fan of Lana, click through to see my slightly creepy obsession on my tumblr, but this pillow is beyond hilarious and I need it in my life, like now!
"You've CAT to be KITTEN me right MEOW" because cats.
I'm almost ashamed to say that i'm one of these people who within ten minutes of entering a cafe/restaurant/bar says "what's the wifi password," but c'mon, how else would I take pictures of my food for instagram and tell everyone on Facebook my exact location? So these earrings are just epic, right?
Pokemon, on a pair of pants! Why? Because why not! I showed my boyfriend and he nearly fainted, oops.
Another cute Lana piece, i'm actually looking into making jewelry like this! Maybe if I wear this all the time Lana will find me and love me? Maybe not.
PURRMAID, cats and mermaids, combined into one beautiful creature. If I was an animal, i'd be a purrmaid.
I blogged about these sunglasses a while ago, I found them on another site but they were out of stock, but alas, I have found them once again, praise shop jeen!
I've been after a rug for my bedroom for a while now and I think this cupcake one is perfect. Nom.
I hate pineapple, like I really can not stand the taste of it, but I think anything with pineapples on it is adorable! So here's a fantastic little handbag, that's shaped like a pineapple, fresh!
Which of these items is your favourite? Will you be adding anything to your wishlist? Let me know!

Quote of the week #34

Monday, May 26, 2014
click through for source and prints.
I think every quote for the last couple of months has been a, "you go glen coco" kind of quote. Positivity is key! If you're holding on to negative thoughts or memories today, let them go! The more negativity you keep up in your head, the more negativity will surround you, let it go (Frozen anyone?)
So think happy thoughts, paint pretty pictures, listen to the Frozen soundtrack and write soppy poems, whatever it is that engages your brain in to positive mode, do it!
I hope you've all had a lovely day today! If you follow me on instagram, you'll know that I got to hang out with my favourite people today and have banana and strawberry ice cream, mmm!

Polyvore Style Board #34

Sunday, May 25, 2014
I am in love with this dress. I know I say this every week with the style board posts, but as soon as it's payday, i'm ordering this baby! It's currently £20 in the Fashion Union sale, so if you've been paid already, I highly suggest you make a purchase. There are so many ways to style this dress! I think the colour is such a perfect shade of blue for the spring/summer time! I decided to style this up with black, because black over everything, always.
These cut out London Rebel boots are on sale at ASOS right now too! £31 isn't a bad price if you ask me! They do look rather high, but that's fine because i'm a shorty so heels will always be my bestest buddy. I think cut out ankle boots will never go our of style and you can pretty much wear them all year round/with everything, bonus!
This little clutch is another must have item! Described as a "rocker clutch" I think it's perfect for nights out or adding a little bit of rock and roll to your outfit!
As i've been saying for the last few months, River Island are on point this year. These sunglasses are only £13 and I think they're such a cute pair! They've actually got tonnes of beautiful sunglasses at the moment, including this pair, beautiful!
The second thing that I think i'll make mine once payday drops is this adorable little Bambi necklace from Truffle Shuffle. To be honest, I could spend a couple hundred quid on that site, easily.
Isn't this bracelet adorable? It's actually available in three different colours, the other two colours are a beautiful coral shade and a summery lime shade! I'd like all three colours but of course, choosing one, I chose black, because the inner goth in me didn't get me a choice.
Flower crowns, how I love thee. The season of flower crowns has began and this one is very high on my "flower crowns to wonder about purchasing" list! I love how sweet and delicate it is! A perfect "festival" piece I think!
I hope everyone's had a great weekend and if you have a bank holiday like us tomorrow, enjoy it! I'm going for ice cream with my friends, because what else are you supposed to do on a bank holiday?
What do you think of this outfit? Love it, or leave it? Let me know!

DuWop | Lip Venom & Venom Flash

Thursday, May 22, 2014
DuWop Lip Venom & DuWop Venom Flash | £19.99 each* | c/o Gibraltar Soap Shop*
So if you went to Runway this year, you'll have bagged yourself the DuWop Lip Venom, lucky you! If you're sat at home reading this, you're probably thinking, huh? What's this "lip venom." Well tonight I am the bearer of good news!
DuWop's Lip Venom was the very first lip plumper, that's right, the first ever! When you first apply this clear gloss you get a strange, but surprisingly pleasant, tingling sensation all over your lips. Lip Venom uses essential oils to enhance lips' natural color and shape by increasing circulation. Some of the other ingredients include cinnamon and ginger. The reaction causes the blood to rush to the surface of the lips which gives you stronger, fuller looking lips! As well as all that, Lip Venom also has essential oils in it to help moisturize your lips and to add a great shine! I find that a lot of other lip products that I use leave my lips feeling dry the next day, but with these lip glosses containing essential oils, you can definitely tell the difference!
Venom Flash is the same as the Lip Venom, but a little bit more fabulous! There are actually two Venom Flash glosses, the first being lashed with a cool silver shimmer and the other being coated with a warm gold glitter. The one that I have pictured above is the gold Venom Flash and it's probably my favourite lip gloss  that I own, truth! DuWop say that the Venom Flash "reflects light, giveing them(your lips) extra sheen" and it really does. As well as a full and plumped look, it honestly gives your lips such a beautiful shine, either on it's own or over a lipstick. I personally prefer it over a light coral or nude lipstick shade as I think it gives your look a little extra oomf!
So overall, both of these products are must have items for your make up bag! They're currently available at The Gibraltar Soap Shop for just £19.99 each along with a huge selection of other DuWop products. Are you going to be making a purchase? Have you already tried these products? What did you think? Let me know!
