REDEMPTION PALETTE ICONIC 3 | MAKEUP REVOLUTION | REVIEW + GIVEAWAY

Thursday, November 24, 2016
A couple of weeks ago I had popped into Superdrug to pick up some essentials and of course, I stumbled and fell over to the Makeup Revolution stand! Every time I blink I swear there is a new palette or lip product out! It's impossible to keep track of, but this does mean that treating myself to a great quality and pocket friendly product is pretty easy.

Makeup Revolution, Redemption Palette, Iconic 3 - £4.00
Being the big fan of Makeup Revolution that I am, I decided to pick up their Redemption Palette, Iconic 3. I'm sure you've heard, but this palette is a dupe for Urban Decay's Naked 3 palette. I personally only have the original Naked palette so I can't completely compare it to the Naked 3, but for just £4, it was worth a short, right?

Unlike a lot of the Makeup Revolution palettes, the Redemption Iconic 3 has a large window so you can actually see the shades in the palette without having to open it. I'm not sure which packaging I prefer as of course, with a lot of the others you do get a huge ass mirror, so I guess it's all swings and roundabouts! Consisting of 12 shades, mostly shimmer shades, the entire palette does look pretty much exactly the same shade wise as the UD Naked 3 palette! Sadly, the shades aren't named, boo, but my most used shades are (from left to right) the first, fith and eighth shade!

Like I say, I am the proud owner of just the original Naked palette but not the Naked 3, so I can't compare the Iconic 3 to the Naked 3 exactly, but Makeup Revolution's eyeshadow's and palette's in general are amazing quality and I'd even say, on par with UD's!

Now, I don't know about you, but when this time of year comes around, and yes I'm walking about the big C word, I love a more shimmery/glittery look. There's just something so festive about it! So if you too like to add an extra bit of glitz around this time of year, then this palette is for you! Especially the second, fifth and sixth shade!

I find all of the shades in this palette easy to wear and blend and super long lasting! What more do you want, right?! Depending on what brushes I use to apply the shadow, I do sometimes get a little bit of fall out upon application but once it's on the lid, it does stay put all day! I've found myself reaching for this palette for both day time and evening looks, as the 12 shades are just so varied but also all work so well with each other!

Guess what, I've decided to run a little giveaway so that you too could be rocking this amazing little dupe! There are two mandatory entries, those are that you must be following my Bloglovin and Twitter, but you can also earn extra entries once you've completed the mandatory ones! See the rafflecopter below!
