Pregnancy is a journey and boy is it one hell of a journey! We live in a technological world where you can snap and share a photo in just seconds, but it's nice every once in a while to get some of your favourite photos printed off so that you can have a physical copy to keep, cherish and hang up in your home!
If you had told me a year ago that in a mere years time I would have a 10 week old baby, I'd have laughed in your face and told you to jog on. I always knew that I wanted children "when I grew up," and I also knew that I wanted to buy a house and get married. I never expected to have a child first, but here I am, sitting at my dining table watching Jack hold our baby on top of a birthing ball whilst singing the circus tune at him.
Well, it's been a hot minute since I've written a blog post hasn't it?! Let's just say that parenting is tough, tougher than I anticipated it to be, both physically and mentally. I'll talk more about my absence in future posts but for today, I wanted to talk about something that I've been thinking about pretty much since the beginning of 2017.
Well, hello there blogosphere! I'm sure you've noticed that I've not had a blog post up for about a month now and if you follow me on any of my social media channels, you'll know that that's because on Thursday, February 2nd at 3.19am, "little" Tyler John Corbett arrived into the world, weighing a super healthy 9lb 5oz! I kind of can't believe that I'm sat here with Tyler laying next to me about to write out this post! It's going to be a really, really lengthy one, so if you're still up for a read, I highly suggest getting comfy and grabbing yourself a hot drink!
Throughout my pregnancy, there were a handful of things that just made the whole experience, that little bit better, more comfortable and just bearable. I thought I would share my top pregnancy essentials that helped me through the last nine months in hopes that it might help some of you who are currently pregnant or just about to embark on your pregnancy journey!
Hello internet and happy Wednesday! Today I thought I'd do a little tag post as I haven't completed one in what feels like years. In fact, I think it has been actual years! The lovely Saph from over at TheRavenWoman has tagged me in "The Real Neat Blog Award" post so I'm going to be answering her 7 questions before tagging 7 gorgeous other bloggers and asking them 7 different questions! So, thank you Saph!
I've said it before and I'll say it again(puts BMTH on Spotify), but I am a dreamer. I'm pretty sure it says, or used to say so, in my twitter bio so I ain't kidding. I like to think of my dreams as goals, only a little more amplified, you know?

I'm sure you're all sick of hearing me say this, but believe me this time if any when I say that week 39 was tough.. really tough. Last week I talked about some pelvic pain that I was having and it's legit made my life a living hell for the past week and half/two weeks now. My midwife told me that it's extremely likely to be spd(I've since seen a consultant and it is, boo) but holy hell is it painful. It's gotten to the point where I can't get up and out of bed on my own because it's simply just too painful.. and even with help I'm often in tears trying to stand up and walk to the bathroom. So yes.. this week has been tough.
Pancakes. I friggin' love pancakes, don't you? Being vegan, there are actually so many wonderful friendly recipes out there, but whenever I get the chance, I like to experiment a little! So that's exactly what I did for this post and boy, it paid off!
Today's quote of the week is more of a positive affirmation than anything else.. and I bloody love it! "I am a passionate, creative woman. I don't have all the answers but I know my worth. It took me a long time to accept me for who I am. I will not tolerate being around anyone who makes me feel anything less." Ladies, can we all take a minute to read this.. and then read it again.. and then always, always remember this? Thank you.
For Christmas, I was a very lucky lady and Jack spoilt me rotten with the gorgeous, limited edition Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette. Disclaimer; not a braggy statement, I'm just super grateful and this palette is just too spandangly amazing not to share with you all!

Week 37, completed! So how is full term pregnancy I hear you ask? Bloody tough I tell ya! I constantly feel heavy and tired and even simple tasks like walking at a normal pace are a challenge! Apart from feeling like I'm growing bigger every single day, not a huge amount has changed over the past week.
Social media. For many of us, it's a love hate relationship, myself included. There are only so many times you can see Karren Smith's relationship status change from single to it's complicated to engaged in one year, surely? And follow to unfollow accounts, can we just not please? Though ultimately, I can say that I am pretty much addicted to social media and the benefits that it reaps for my little corner of the internet.
It can be really hard to stand out on the internet when it's just so, well, saturated! Today I wanted to share with you just some of the ways that I find social media helps to increase engagement and traffic for my little corner of the internet.
If you missed my weeks 33 + 34 bump update, you can catch it here.
Welcome to the last of my double week bump updates! As this blog post goes live, I am 37 weeks + 2 days pregnant, which apparently is classed by some as full term, eeeek! So in an eager, optimistic attempt to coo baby out a little earlier than January 25th, as of next Friday, I'll be sharing solo weekly updates! Hurrah!
In a world full of perfectly filtered Instagram feeds, filled with jet setting holiday's and indulgent purchases, it's often hard to be thankful for the things that we have in our own lives, even the little, seemingly insignificant things. It's so easy to take things for granted, especially when it's something or someone that you use or see every single day.
Hello you lovely lot and welcome to my first post this year! I hope you all had a wonderful end to 2016 and it was spent doing something lovely! A chilled one for us and probably the most chilled New Years Eve I've ever had!
