Urban Decay | Full Spectrum Palette | First impressions | Love, Maisie
For Christmas, I was a very lucky lady and Jack spoilt me rotten with the gorgeous, limited edition Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette. Disclaimer; not a braggy statement, I'm just super grateful and this palette is just too spandangly amazing not to share with you all!

I am a self confessed make up addict. Especially since living back in England, I buy makeup products that I full well know I don't need because I already have several similar versions, but I just can't help myself! I have more pink and red lipsticks than I'll ever be able to get through and more nude palette's than I even know what to do with. I can't be the only one though, right?

However, one thing that was missing from my ever growing make up collection was an eyeshadow palette full of bright, fun, colourful shades! So when I opened up Urban Decay's Full Spectrum palette on Christmas day, I think I made a little squeal! That and just setting eyes on the packaging is enough to excite any make up addict! It's just so pretty!
This gorgeous eyeshadow palette consists of 21 shades ranging from a whiter than white, to deep pinks and even a bright, golden yellow! Basically, there is every single shade you could ever need for a perfectly colourful look! Urban Decay have arranged the shades in this limited edition palette into 7 ombre trio's! Pinks, oranges, yellows, greens, blues, purples and as they have so perfectly titled it, the wildcard trio, ranging from black to white! I officially never need to even look at another eyeshadow palette ever again.

(From top left to bottom right)For the pinks we have Alchemy Gossip and Paranoia. For the oranges, Warning, Seize and Jones. The yellows are Midnight Blaze, Calavera and Goldmine. The greens are Hundered, Hatter and Mean. Blues are named Minx, Blindsided and Metamorphosis. The purples are made up of Delirious, Sketch and Faded. Last but not least, we have Platonic, a shimmery black, Iced, a sprakly silver and Bump, a snow white!
Personally, so far I've really been loving the pink shades and the purple shades the most as I find them the easiest ones to wear and incorporate into existing makeup looks! I am really excited to try out all of the colour combinations and come up with some really fun and exciting make up looks though. Would you like to see some of the looks that I come up with? I'm currently working on coming up with ideas for my YouTube channel for this year so let me know if make up looks are something you'd like to see from me!

From the shades that I have tried out, the pigmentation is really great! Some of the lighter shades aren't instantly super duper pigmented but do build up really well and really easily without too much fall out! When using eyeshadow, I've started doing my eye makeup first, this makes it easier to get rid of any fall out without having to reapply foundation that I've wiped away, especially when using any darker or heavier shades. Does anyone else do their make up this way around?

Another big win for this palette is that the mirror is absolutely huge! So this bad boy will be coming with me on any of my travels! It's honestly the biggest mirror that I've ever had on a make up palette. OH and of course, Urban Decay's products are all cruelty free, winning! If you're in the UK you can grab the Urban Decay Full Spectrum palette from Debenhams, in store or online for £43. Have you tried the Full Spectrum palette? What did you make of it?

  1. Gosh those colours are giving me heart eyes! I have to admit that I rarely experiment with eyeshadow shades, but I do have a MUA palette that has some pinks and greens but I would probably be more inclined to wear it if I knew it was good quality...

  3. Oh how much I'd love to own this palette...*Enter heart eye emoji right here* The colours are just so stunning, but I'll just have to stick to my acid brights palette by make up revolution for now!
